High School A. Genovesi in Naples

Saturday, February 25 Don Bartolo, Pierpaolo and Louis were in high school Genovesi in Naples where they discussed with three classes about the Association and of the main problems you may experience by traveling to Burkina Faso.

The boys  showed interest in listening and  in asking questions.
A great thank to the students, to the  Professor  Foschini.  And  to the head of the school  Professor Salvatore Lettieri who made possible this wonderful experience.

Here is a poem by one of the boys:

EYES of an African child
EYES  LARGE,DEEP AND BLACKS
an African child
speak of a land
boundless and mysterious.
BRIGHT EYES
a blinding light
that takes you away
in places unknown
without boundaries,
but with so many horizons.
EYES THAT SMILE
for small joys
granted from simple habits
of a life
apparently free.
DEAD EYES
where you read the fear,  a terror
of death that comes
without notice.
HOPEFUL EYES
that, by crossing your eyes,
merge
in the one thought of a land
that has no equal:
Africa.
